The breadth of a rectangular park is 7m less than its length. If the perimeter of the park is 1034m, find the dimensions of the park.

Then Breadth of the park = ( X - 7 ) M

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × ( L + B )

Perimeter Given = 1034 m

So we have ,

2 × ( X + X - 7 ) = 1034

2 × ( 2X - 7 ) = 1034

(2X - 7 ) = 5 17

2X = 517 + 7

2X = 524

X = 262

〰Length of plot is 262 m

〰Breadth of plot is 255 m
