Step-by-step explanation:

breadth of rectangle,b- 1/5(given)

perimeter of rectangle - 100 m ( given)

Le L be the length of the rectangle

we know that perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b)

According to the question:

Actual perimeter of rectangle = given perimeter

now,

2(l+b) = 100m

2(l+1/5)= 100m

2×l + 2×1/5 = 100m

2l + 2/5= 100

2l= 100- 2/5

2l = 5×100-1×2/5

2l = 500 -2 /5

2l = 495 /5

2l = 99

l = 99/2

l = 49.5

therefore the length is 49.5
