Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length of a rectangle be x

so the breadth of a rectangle be

x × 2/3 = 2x /3

Perimeter of a rectangle

= 2 (l +b )

= 2 (x + 2x/3)

= 2 {( 3x + 2x)/3}

= 2 × 5x /3

= 10x/3

But perimeter of a rectangle = 180m (given)

A/q

10x /3 = 180

=10x = 540

= x = 54

So length of a rectangle = 54m

and breadth = 2x /3 = (2×54)/3 = 36m
