so, according to the question,
$b = \frac{l}{3} + 2$
or,
$3b = l + 6$
perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)=52

2(3b-6+b)=52
4b-6=26
4b=32
b=8 cm

so,
l=3(8)-6=18 cm
