Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

b=l-6

perimeter=900

2(l+b)=900

2(l+l-6)=900

4l-12=900

4l=912

l=228

b=l-6

 =228-6

 =222

Let length of the rectangle=x+6

then breadth of the rectangle=x

perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)

here perimeter of the rectangle=2(x+x+6)

perimeter in number =900

according to the question,

2(x+x+6)=900

or,2(2x+6)=900

or,4x=900-12

or,x=888/4

or,x=222(solution)

length of the rectangle=222+6=228m

breadth of the rectangle=222m

Area of the rectangle=l×b(here l is length and b is breadth)

Area of the rectangle=222×228=50616

rectangle

About

In Euclidean plane geometry, a rectangle is a quadrilateral with four right angles. It can also be defined as: an equiangular quadrilateral, since equiangular means that all of its angles are equal; or a parallelogram containing a right angle. A rectangle with four sides of equal length is a square. Wikipedia
