The breadth of rectangle is ¾th of its length. If its perimeter is 126 m, then its length will be?

Answer:

Let the breadth (b) be x m.

∴ Length (l) = (43x) m

Perimeter = 126 m

⇒2(l+b)=126⇒2(43x+x)=126

⇒47x=63⇒x=463×4=36

So, breadth = 36 m and length = 43×34=27m

∴Area=(36×27)m2=972m2
