Given:

  • Breadth = 8 cm
  • Perimeter = 64 cm

 \\

To Find:

  • Length of the Rectangle?

 \\

Formula Used:

 \\ \bigstar{\underline{\boxed{\tt\large{ \orange{Perimeter_{(Rectangle)} } = 2(l + b) }}}} \\

Where

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

 \\

Solution:

Perimeter is given so we have to find the length of Rectangular Figure;

After substituting values,

 \implies p = 2(l + b)

 \implies 64 = 2(l + 8)

 \implies 64 = 2l + 16

 \implies 64 - 16 = 2l

 \implies 48 = 2l

 \implies 48/2 = l

 \implies l = 24 cm

Hence,

  • The Length of the Rectangle is 24 cm.
