Answer:

Vegetative reproduction is method of multiplication in which a somatic part of the plant detaches from the body of the mother and develops into a new independent part under suitable environmental conditions. In Bryophyllum, vegetative reproduction occurs through leaves. Leaves of Bryophyllum have adventitious buds which help in vegetative reproduction. The adventitious buds arise from the notches present at margins of leaves. These buds then grow into a new plant.
