The bulb may not glow because of the following reasons:

(i) Liquid in the beaker is do not conduct electricity. In such case, the electric current would not be able to pass through the liquid. Hence, the circuit is not complete.

Explanation:

this is based on concept of electrodynamics .

bulb glow only when current passing through it . current means what ??? change in charge( e.g electrons)per unit time .

above explanation means bulb glow only when electrons moves from liquid to bulb and bulb to liquid .

here bulb doesn't glow , I think

(a) electrons are not moving across the bulb . so, potential are not developing across the bulb , hence bulb doesn't glow .

(b) may be happen that required potential doesn't devalop by system so, bulb doesn't glow .

(c) may be happen that liquid is neutral no any charge or mobility .so , current don't develop by this .

(d) filament may be gone .

(e) bulb may be fused

(f) circuit may be opened

(h) wire may be neutral ( current doesn't passing this wire

Hi friend,

The possible reason could be :

1. The bulb might be fused .

2. The cells might be dead.

3. The connections might be loose .
