Solution:

We are given the cost of $\frac{46}{7}$ kg orange, so first we will find the cost of 1 kg orange which is:

∴ The cost of 1 kg orange = $\frac{85}{\frac{46}{7} } = \frac{85 \times 7}{46} = \frac{595}{46}= Rs. \:12.93$

 

Now,

The cost of $\frac{7}{2} \:kg$ orange will be,

= [Cost of 1 kg orange] × [give kg of orange]

= 12.93 × $\frac{7}{2}$

= Rs. 45.25

Thus, the cost of $\frac{7}{2} \:kg$ orange will be Rs. 45.25.
