The calorific value of a fuel is 25000 KJ/kg.If the heat produced is 470000KJ. Find the amount of fuel used?

Heat Energy Released = Mass of fuel x Calorific value of fuel

So,
Mass of fuel = Released energy/Calorific Value

= 470000/25000
= 18.8 Kg
