• Carbon Dioxide fixation in the presence of energy rich ATP and NADPH and it's conversion to glucose through various reactions and with the help of enzymes.

• Net reaction of C3 ( dark reaction ) is :-

6RuBP + 6CO2 + 18 ATP + 12 NADPH --> 6RuBP + C6H12O6 + 18 ADP + 18 Pi + 12 NADP+
