A camel can drink 40 litres of water in 10 minutes ( proven by scientists ). Whenever he needs water, it's hump works as our mouth to drink water directly. That is why people use camel for a long journey in a desert as it will be not thirsty and hungry for a few days and they can complete their journey successfully.

Cactuses store the water in their spines as they don't need too much water to grow. They have so much water stored, SO as in need people collects water through cactus to drink water while travelling.
