In this type of complex circuit, first try to simplify the circuit by applying Potential drops.

  • Then capacitors with same potential drops will be assigned as parallel.

  • The rest will be assigned in series.

Refer to diagram for simplifying circuits using this technique !!

  • 2nd diagram is after simplification.

20 \mu F capacitors are in series.

So, lower branch has 20/2 = 10 \mu F.

Now, Net Capacitance :

 \boxed{C_{eq} = 10 + 10 = 20 \:  \mu F}

Net capacitance is 20 micro-F.
