Answer:The km per liter for the base tank is 260 / 90 = ~2.89 km per liter. With 5 additional liters the car would travel about 14 km farther. The distance for the base fuel supply plus the reserve fuel supply is 260 + 14 = 274 km

For my fellow US residents, 95 liters =~ 25.1 gallons. 274/25.1 = ~ 10.9 miles per gallon. My 16 years old Jeep Cherokee with a V-8 engine averages about 20 mpg of cheap US gasoline. My 2 year old 4 cylinder Jeep Compass averages > 30 mph.

It appears that our vehicle discussed in this question averaging less than 3 km per liter and is unacceptably inefficient as a passenger vehicle. Perhaps it is a very high capacity heavy haul truck. If that is the case, it should be fitted with a higher capacity fuel tank. If it is a passenger car as stated in the question, we can agree that it is not an efficient use of fuel.
