Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Capacity of the cuboidal water tank = 50,000 Litre

We know,

1000 Litre = 1m³

50,000 Litres = 50000/1000 m³= 50m³

Volume = 50m³

Length (l) = 2.5m

Height (or depth) (h)= 10m

Let the breadth be ' b '

Volume = l × b × h

50 = 25/10 × b × 10

b = 2

Thus,

the breadth of the tank is 2m

AnswEr:

Length of tank = 2.5 cm

Breadth of tank = ?

Height of tank = 10 cm

Volume = l × b × h

= 2.5 × b × m³

= 25 b

Capacity of tank = 250 b = 25000 b litres.

\therefore 25000b =20000

b = 20000/25000

b = 2/1

B = 2

Therefore, the breadth of the tank is 2.
