Given :- The capacity of a cuboidal shaped tank is 12 liters if the area of the base of the tank is 750 CM square then the height of the tank is ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Area of base = Length * Breadth .
  • Capacity of cubical tank = Length * Breadth * Height .
  • 1 Litre = 1000 cm³ .

So, Let us assume that, Height of the tank is h m.

Now,

→ Area of base ( length × breadth ) = 750 cm² .

then,

→ Capacity of tank = l * b * h = 750 * h = (750h) cm³.

also,

→ Capacity of tank = 12 litre = 12 * 1000 = 12000 cm³.

therefore,

→ 750h = 12000

→ h = 12000 / 750

→ h = 16 cm.

Height of the cuboidal tank is 16 cm .

friends,

area of base of tank 750 cm

so, l×b×h =750

here we have to find =height

capacity of tank =12 litre

then,

12×1000=12000

so, there are no values of l×b×h

so we will divide = 12000/750

so answer will be = 16

therefore ,the height of tank is =16 cm
