the capacity of a cuboidal tank is 50000 liters of water. Find the breadth of the tank, if its length and depth are respectively 2.5 m and 10 m.

l=2.5 m, h=10 m

V=l×b×h=(2.5×x×10)m³

=25x m³

Capacity of a tank =25x m³=50000 litres

⇒25x m³=50 m³

⇒x=2

Hence, b=2 m.
