Given :-

  • The capacity of a cylindrical glass tumbler is 125.6 cm³. if the radius of the glass tumbler is 2cm

To find :-

  • Height of cylindrical glass tumbler

Solution :-

  • Capacity of cylinderical tumbler = 125.6cm³

  • Radius of cylindrical tumbler = 2 cm

As we know that

→ Volume of cylinder = Capacity of cylinderical tumbler = πr²h

Where " r " is radius and " h " is height of cylinder

As per given condition

→ Volume of cylindrical tumbler = 125.6cm³

→ πr²h = 125.6

→ 3.14 × (2)² × h = 125.6

→ 3.14 × 4 × h = 125.6

→ 12.56 × h = 125.6

→ h = 125.6/12.56

→ h = 1256/1256 × 100/10

→ h = 10cm

Hence,

  • Height of cylindrical tumbler 10cm

Answer:

  • Volume = 125.6 cm³
  • Radius = 2 cm
  • Height = ?

According to the Question :

⇒ Volume of cylindrical glass = 125.6 cm³

⇒ πr²h = 125.6

⇒ 3.14 × (2)² × h = 125.6

⇒ 3.14 × 4 × h = 125.6

⇒ 12.56 × h = 125.6

⇒ h = 125.6 ÷ 12.56

⇒ h = (1256 × 10) ÷ 1256

h = 10 cm

Height of glass tumbler is 10 cm.
