The correct answer to the question is Option C- 15 litres.

Let the water used from the water container is X litres.

So, the remaining water in the container is X - 5 litres.

According to the given statement,

X+ x-5 = 25

2x- 5= 25

2x= 25+5

2x = 30

X= 30/2

X= 15.

So, the quantity of water used if the container was full initially is 15 litres.
