Answer:

170 litres

Step-by-step explanation:

1% of water in the tank= (1/100*1000)l

                                     =10 l

Water taken out =65%-48%

                           =17%

So,

Answer:

The volume of water taken out is 170 L

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The total capacity of the water tank = 1000 L

The tank is full of 65% of water,

1000 L * (65/100) = 650 L

⇒Amount of water remaining in the tank after water is taken out,

1000 L * (48/100) = 480 L

⇒To find the volume of water taken out, we should subtract the volume of water taken from the initial,(i.e.,)

650 - 480 L = 170 L
