Due to constant flow of current through the resistors it looses the characteristics of resistivity. We can see the coil of tungsten in heaters burnout after some years of use. Hope it helps u buddy.

The capacity of reservoirs decrease after few years. Because:-

*The total live storage available in these reservoirs is 15.35 BCM

* Which is 85% of total live storage capacity of these reservoirs.

*The storage during corresponding period of last year was 71%

*And average storage of last ten years during corresponding period was 74% of live storage capacity of these reservoirs.
