- Capacity or volume of the tank = 60,000 litres
- Breadth of the tank = 4m
- Height of the tank = 3m
- Length of the tank = ?
Formula to be used :-
- Vol = length × breadth × height
Volume = 60,000 litres
60,000 litres = 60,000 / 1000 = 60 m³
Length = ?
Therefore ,
Volume = length × breadth × height
➡ Volume = length × 4 × 3
➡ 60 = length × 12
➡ length = 60 / 12
➡ length = 5
