given

The car that I own can go 150 Km with 25 litres of petrol. How far can it go with 30 litres of petrol ??

to find

How far can it go with 30 litres of petrol ??

concept

this is taken by camparing quantities chapter a car go with 150 km speed with 25 letre of petrol after car is go with 30 letre of petrol to find how km is go car with 30 letre of petrol.

answer

180km.d none of these.

solusion

with 25 litres of petrol the car goes 150 kilometre.

with 1 litre the car will go=150/25km.

mens with 30 litres of petrol it would go=150/25*30

==>180 km.

in this method we first found the value for one unit or the unit rate this is done by the comparison of two different properties for example when you compare total cost to number of items we get cost per item if you take distance travelled to time taken we get a distance per unit time you can see that we often use per to mean for each.

for example kilometre per hour children per teacher etc Denot unit rates.

.hope my answer helps you 100•/•.
