Reason => The carbon atom has a Total of 8 electrons in which 6 electrons are used in bond formation and the rest is lone pair.

During heterolytic fission of carbon and hydrogen bond they aquire a negative charge.

so as to make it stable , the negative charge should be removed from the carbon atom.

But due to +I effect and hyperconjugation the electron density increases on the negatively charged carbon atom.

Thus, making it unstable and reactive.
