The carbon compound used in daily life is edible oil, that is used in cooking for consumption by people.

Triglycerides form the main component of edible oils, which are carbon containing compounds( the backbone is of carbon).

They are mainly esters formed by combination of fatty acids and glycerol.

Edible oils also contain monoglycerides, diglycerides, sterols and other free fatty acids.

The answer is edible oil.

When we consider both edible oil and baking soda under human consumption, there is no doubt that edible oil could win the race. Edible oil is tops in the everyday consumption list around the world. There are literally few food item that doesn't giving any part to the edible oil in their ingredients list. Even though baking soda is making a great part in everyday consumption of humans it doesn't overtakes edible oil.
