and the cost given for 36.96 m^2 = 3960
then, cost of carpet per m^2 = 3960/36.96 =107.14

now ,
the area of 70cm carpet for 1m long
= 0.7×1= 0.7m^2

hence,
the cost of carpet per meter = 0.7×107.14=Rs 75
