Width of the carpet = 80 cm = 0.8 m
Let the length of the carpet = x meter
Area of the floor of the room = Area of the carpet
⇒ (7.5 × 6) m² = (0.8 × x) m²
x = 45/0.8
x = 56.25 m
So, the length of the carpet is 56.25 m
Total cost of the carpet = Rs. 6750
Cost of the carpet per meter = 6750/56.25
= Rs. 120
