⇒ Cost of 3 erasers and 1 sharpener = Rs.3

Required :

⇒ Let the cost of eraser be x and sharpener be y.

⇒ 1 x + 7 y = Rs.8

⇒ 3 x + 1 y = Rs.3

⇒ Then the value of 1 x and 1 y

⇒ 1 eraser = $\frac{13}{20}$

⇒ 1 sharpener = $\frac{21}{20}$
