The cell membrane is a selectively permeable membrane then how do germs and other foreign body enter it?

cell membrane is a selectively permeable membrane in only human cells. germs may combines with a mineral which is required by human and enters inside your body.for example food u consume

Through skin
Mucous membrane
Food or water intake
Through the air we breathe in.
