Mesophyll are present between the two epidermal layers which is thin.In monocots the mesophyll are present in same amount on both upper and lower part of leaves but in dicot the amount of mesophyll are not equal in both upper and lower surface of leaves....mesophyll are helps in photosynthesis as it contain chloroplast..
