The cellular components which are not visible under compound microscope are:-

  1. Endoplasmic reticulum.
  2. Both SER(smooth endoplasmic reticulum)and RER(Rough endoplasmic reticulum).
  3. golgi apparatus(in case of animals)
  4. lysosomes
  5. peroxisomes
  6. Glyoxysomes
  7. Dictyosomes (in case of plants)
  8. Centriole(only in animals)

(plant cell lack centriole).

9. Chromatin

10.Nuclelolus

11.Ribosomes.

12.Mitochondria

13. Ultra structure of Nucleus. and,

14. Nucleoplasm.

These are only visible under Electron microscopes .Due to which their ultra structure are known.

The cellular components which are visible under compound microscope are:-

  • Cytoplasm
  • Cell membrane
  • Nucleus
  • Cell wall.
