______Here's your Answer _________

Given;

Length = 22m

Breadth = 15.5 m

=> Area of the hall = Length × Breadth

=> 22 × 15.5

=> 341 m^2.

Now,

For Carpet, 75cm = 0.75m

Length = ( 22 - 0.75 - 0.75 )m

Breadth =( 15.5 - 0.75 - 0.75)m

=> Area of carpet = l × b

=> 20.5 × 14

=> 287 m^2.

Now,

Uncovered Area = Ar. of hall - Ar. of Carpet

=> 341 - 287

=> 53m^2.

Therefore, The Area of hall left uncovered is 53m^2.
