Let P and Q be the coordinates (-2,-5) and (5,-6)

Distance between P and Q = Radius of the circle

Distance between P and Q

= √(x2 - x1)² + (y2 - y1)²

= √(5- -2)² + (-6- -5)²

= √(5+2)² + (-6+5)²

= √7² + (-1)²

= √49+1

= √50

= 5√2
