The centre of a circle is (−4,2). If one end of the diameter of the circle is (−3,7) then

find the other end​

Answer:

midpoint=(-4,2)

one end =(-3,7) which is x1 and y1

midpoint formula =( x1 +x2/2+ y1 + y2/2)

(-4,2)=(-3+x2/2 + 7+y2/2)

by equating we get

-3+x2/2=-4

-3+x2=-2

x2=1

7+y2/2=2

y2=-7

the other end is (1,-7)
