Given

  • coordinates of center (-4,2)
  • coordinates of one end (-3,7)

To find

  • coordinates of other end

Solution

as we know

X1+X2/2=abscissa of center

-3+x2/2=-4

-3+X2=-8

x2=-8+3

X2= -5

now for ordinate

Y1+Y2/2=ordinate of center

7+Y2/2=2

Y2=4-7

Y2= -3

hence the coordinate of other end is

(-5,-3)

Thanks

hope its helpful
