To find: coordinates of other end of the diameter

Let the unknown coordinates be B(x,y)

Then, midpoint of AB = (\frac{5+x}{2}  , \frac{9+y}{2})

from the question, \frac{5+x}{2} = -1

    5+x = -2\\                            x = (-2) -(5)\\                            x = -7

also, \frac{9+y}{2}  = 6

9+y = 12\\ y = 12-9\\y=3

Therefore, the coordinates of other end of the diameter is (-7,3)
