ANSWER:
_______________________________
From the attached figure, it can be observed that the centre of curvature C lies in front of the concave mirror.
_____________________________
The reflecting surface of a spherical mirror forms a part of a sphere. The centre of this sphere.
This point is called the centre of curvature of the spherical mirror.
___________________________
Center of curvature can also be defined as the point in the centre of the sphere from which the mirror was sliced. It is represented by the letter C .
___________________________
Please note this that the centre of curvature lies outside the mirror's reflecting surface.
_________________________
The centre of curvature of a concave mirror lies in front of it.
_________________________
However, it lies behind the mirror in case of a convex mirror.

Rays of light parallel to the principal axis of a concave mirror will appear to converge on a point in front of the mirror somewhere between the mirror's pole and its center of curvature. That makes this a converging mirror and the point where the rays converge is called the focal point or focus.
