Given : Endpoint of one diameter of given circle as (-4, 2) and (4, -3)

To find : Centre of the circle

Solution : The general equation of circle is given as,

(x - h) {}^{2}  + (y - k) {}^{2}  =  {r}^{2}

• Where (h, k) is any point on circle and r = radius of the circle

• The centre is the Mid-point of a given diameter

(h, k) = [ (-4 + 4)/2, (2 - 3)/2 ]

(h, k) = ( 0, -1/2 )

Hence, centre of the given circle is ( 0, -1/2 )
