The statement is false.

But why?

  • Correct statement should be : The centre of the sphere from which the convex mirror is made is called its centre of curvature.

  • Pole is a point on the spherical mirror through which the principal axis pàsses after going through focus and centre of curvature.

Additional info:

  • Distance from pole to centre of curvature is RADIUS OF CURVATURE.

  • Distance from pole to focus is called FOCAL LENGTH.

  • Any ray falling on the pole follows the rules of reflection and undergoes reflection.

\star Hope It Helps.
