The centripetal force is given by F= mv^2/r the mass (m) velocity (v) and radius (r) of the circular path of an object are 0.5 kg , 10ms^-1 and 0.4 respectively. if m,v, and r measured to accuracies of 0.005kg,0.01ms^-1 and 0.01m respectively, find the percentage error in force acting on the body.

first find fractional error thn multiply by 100
fractional error will be :
0.005/0.5 + 2×(0.01÷10) + 0.01/0.4
thn multiply by 100

Answer:

3.7% :)

Explanation: ΔF/F= ΔM/M+ 2 ΔV/V+ ΔR/R

(ΔF/F)×100= (ΔM/M +2 ΔV/V+ ΔR/R)×100

= [0.005/0.5+2(0.01/10)+0.01/0.4]×100

=(0.20+0.02+0.5÷20)×100

=0.72/20×100

=3.7%

Hope it helps... :)
