Solution:

Let x be the Number of chairs in school then x must be a common multiple of 35, 45 and 105

To find x we need to find Least common factor of 35, 45 and 105

Now find LCM (35, 45 and 105 )

write the given number as multiple of prime factors

35 = 5 x 7

45 = 3 x 3 x 5  

105 = 3 x 5 x 7

LCM = 3 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 315

Therefore, The least number of chairs in school = 315

The maximum number of chairs will be equal to 315k  [for any positive value of k ]
