Solution :-

we know that , english letter has total 26 alphabets .

The procedure of labeling a chair consists of two tasks :-

  • Assigning to the seat one of the 26 uppercase English letters .
  • Assigning to it one of the 100 possible integers.

So, using Product rule we get,

→ Total different ways that a chair can be labelled = 26 * 100 = 2600 (C) (Ans.)

Therefore, the largest number of chairs that can be labelled differently is 2600.
