Change in position of an object with time is called MOTION .
- In simple words, an object is said to be in motion when it is not stationary. This means that the object continuously changes its position with respect to a reference frame.
- For example : a ball rolling on the ground.
- Now, motions can be uniform or non-uniform.
Uniform motions are those in which object moves with a constant velocity and covers equal distances in equal intervals of time.
Non-uniform motions are those in which object moves with variable velocity and covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time.
