Correct question:-

The change in velocity of a motorbike is 54km/h in one minute. Then it's acceleration in (i) m/s² (ii) km/h² are ?

Given:-

→ Change in velocity of the

motorbike = 54km/h

→ Time = 1 minute

To find:-

Acceleration in :- (i) m/s² (ii) km/h²

Solution:-

In m/ :-

Firstly, let's convert the change in velocity from km/h to m/s.

=> 1 km/h = 5/18 m/s

=> 54km/h = 54×5/18

=> 15m/s

Time :-

=> 1 min = 60s

Acceleration = Change in velocity/Time

= 15/60

= 0.25 m/

In km/ :-

Time :-

=> 1 min = 1/60 hour

Acceleration = Change in velocity/Time

= 54/[1/60]

= 54×60

= 3240 km/

_____________________________

Thus, the required accelerations of the motorbike are :-

(i) 0.25 m/s²

(ii) 3240 km/h²
