the change of liquid water vapour below boiling point is called evaporation. during evaporation, water gains heat from the surroundings to change into water vapour. what will happen to the temperature of the surroundings when water evaporates? relate this to how you feel when the sweat on your skin evaporates. does it make you feel cooler? why?

Answer:

That's because cooling your body via sweating relies on a principle of physics called "heat of vaporization." It takes energy to evaporate sweat off of your skin, and that energy is heat. As your excess body heat is used to convert beads of sweat into vapor, you start to cool down.

As for surroundings, they will cool down too, by rain.
