according to me the twins are the best characters in The canterville ghost story.....because they were delightful boys and true republicans of the family.....they were usually called " the star and stripes,"they both are very naughty boys nd always played tricks with the ghost......

According to me the best character in the play was Virginia . She was very sympathetic, pitying. We get to know this by the evidences in the play like she saw her brothers teasing and hurting the ghost Sir Simon so she stopped her brothers from doing this and asked Sir Simon to forgive her brother. She always give support to the person who is doing right and always think for justice. She is very much helpful and type of forgiving person as she requested the Angel of Death to have mercy on Sir Simon.
