- When the key is open then charge will flow through all the cell
- Finding the equivalent of all cells
- the cells are in series so there equivalent is C+C+C=3C
- then the combination of 3 cell is in series with C
- so
- the charge flowing is q = Ceq x V = 3CV/4
- Now when the key is closed charge is passing through only one cell C
- the charge that flows through the cell on closing the key k as shown in circuit is CV-3CV/4=CV/4
