Helen was though utterly shaken at the heavy charges of plagiarism on her at such a young age, she somehow knew in her mind that she was actually not guilty of the crime she was accused of. This provided a moral force which helped in her recovery. She knew that she was speaking the truth that she had not knowingly copied the story but in her subconscious mind had retained some ideas from the same. Apart from all these, the moral support provided by her peers, specially her mother and teacher proved to be a catalyst in the process of her recovery.
