Explanation: We know that the potential energy of a substance is the multiplication of height , weight and acceleration due to gravity.

But in this case the gravity and the weight of the man are same in all the three cases so we can say that Potential Energy ∝ height

In the first case the energy is given 50J and the height of the man is 100 meters so the ratio of energy to height is 1:2

In the second case the energy is given 100J and the  height is given 200 meters. So the ratio of energy to height in the second case is also 1:2

In the third case the ratio of energy to height is also same that is 1:2.

Now considering all the three cases although the energy and height is different but there ratio is same in all the 3 cases.

So if we plot a graph of Potential Energy Vs Height the line of the graph will be parallel to X Axis.
